Im really hoping its not like COD as although graphically great it was basically a check point run with no room for different ways to complete objectives.

Considering there marketshare has increased hugely whilst there main competitors has fallen sharply i would say yes its great success. The 360 is outselling the original xbox whereas the ps3 on the other hand has sold nowhere near as quickly as the Ps2 and has had its marketshare destroyed. hmmm.

Yeah single player was better in Resistance. Halos was pretty poor by the way i thought compared to the first one. And it (Resistance) is a good game i guess i just prefer shooting zombies. Each to there own.
MGS4 was great. Will give you that. Very good game indeed. Great story. And i did prefer Resistance to Halo3.
When you have a game that plays as well as gears you can make a silly comment. Cyrsis looks better than Killzone but plays like a dog. Its all about whether the game is good to play.
I like Uncharted and although the graphics are good there nothing that couldn't be done on the 360. Don't see what everyone goes on about its graphics really. Killzone has better graphics in my opinion. Like i said though its how they play that matters. I liked uncharted but actually prefered the new Tomb ...

Well there will probably be Alan Wake, Forza3 and Mass Effect2. There my most wanted and forza2 and the first mass effect were two of my favorite games ever so i will be happy.
No doubt there will be more to add to that list come E3. Microsoft don't genrally announce the majortiy of there titles till then. There will be plenty of games no fear.
Judging by the way the 360 walked over the ps3 with one game (gears2) in 08 the fanboys had better hope they don't announce to many.

Uncharted was a nice looking game... not the best graphics as many say but nice none the less.
The sequel will hopefully be just as good but developers always say things like this before there game is released, its part of the marketing.
I hope theres more exploration in this one and as i got a bit tired of the constant gun play the first. Should be good though.

Seriously, developers always talk rubbish like this before there game comes out, its part of the marketing, they all do it and people on here fall for it everytime.
Uncharted will look great but pushing the Ps3 to its limits... not a chance.
Is this game any good? I live in the Uk and it has yet to be released here... think its coming end of the month. Im a big silent Hill fan but have concerns over the new developer.
I hope the xbox and ps3 have a good year in 09. Im looking forward to games on both... Killzone2, uncharted 2, heavy Rain, alan Wake, Halo odst,Mass Effect2, Forza3. Its going to be a great gaming year.
It looks like a good game and i hope it sells well. I can't see it doing Halo numbers but i reckon 5 million is a safe bet.

I think it will be a very good game indeed. The only problems might be the ones i had with COD4. On its first paly through it was a graphically stunning emersive shooter but once i switched the level up to hard i started to notice the flaws.
but to be honest thats just nit-picking in what is generally a good game.
Im expecting tKillzone2 to be a stunning looking, playable shooter, nothing more and from what ive seen it will deliver on that.
Looks like 360 beat the Ps3 then in 08, same again in 09 i reckon unless Sony get there damn act together.

Yeah loved first one, number 2 was a lazy pile of cat dung. Looking forward to a new Ghost Recon though.
